LIGOT'S BROD-IN-LAW SURFACES, DENIES HIDING

ligotThe brother-in-law of former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) comptroller Jacinto Ligot reportedly came to the Senate Monday night to tell the Blue Ribbon Committee that he is not hiding even after failing to show up in last week's hearing on alleged corruption in the military.

Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada said Edgardo Yambao, who allegedly amassed around P300 million in cash and assets even without a source of income, explained to the committee that he's just concerned about his business.
