japan earthquakeTOKYO, Japan - The monster 8.9-magnitude earthquake which hit Japan on Friday was the country's biggest ever and the seventh largest on record, according to US Geological Survey data. Here are the largest magnitude earthquakes in history, according to the USGS website:
