Police authorities were searching Wednesday for two men whom they suspect had remotely detonated a bus bomb that killed 5 passengers and were trying to determine whether the explosive pointed to the involvement of al-Qaeda-linked bandits. The military, which is helping the police, said it had prior information about a supposed plan to carry a bombing attack in Metro Manila as early as last year, but added they did not know what would be the target.
