Google Exposes Gmail Hacking from China

Google has revealed another bout of China-based Internet hacking--this time targeting the personal Gmail accounts of senior U.S. officials, Chinese activists, and journalists.

Google says on their official blog that the attacks originated from Jinan City. It's home to one of the six technical offices of China's People's Liberation Army, and a technical college linked to a hacking episode on Google last year.

Google says the Chinese hackers tried to use malware and phishing scams to steal email passwords of hundreds of Gmail users. The aim: to read and forward the victims' email messages.

Google says they've detected and disrupted the campaign.

Sony Forecasts Nearly $1 Billion Profit for Current Year

It hasn't been an easy year for Japanese electronics maker Sony. Faced with the aftermath of the powerful earthquake and tsunami more than two months ago...Plus, the hacking of personal data on its large PlayStation video game network has taken a toll...but the company is still forecasting a large profit for this coming year.

Sony Corp forecast a net profit of $975 million U.S. dollars on Thursday for the year that started on April 1.

An American Koran-burning pastor is standing trial in front of a Jury in Michigan to decide whether his latest controversial act can go ahead. Terry Jones sparked outrage across the world last month when he set fire to a copy of Islam's holy text, prompting violent riots in Afghanistan. He now plans to rally outside America's largest mosque in protest of Muslim law as Christians mark Good Friday.

Bag Bombing: Minsk terror step by step

It all started with tragedy in Belarus - when a deadly blast struck the metro in the capital, Minsk. Thirteen people have now died, and over two hundred were injured, after an explosive was detonated at a station during the Monday evening rush hour. Two days after the bombing, President Lukashenko declared the authorities knew who was behind the terror attack. Five people have been detained - including a man who's suspected of setting off the explosive. Three of them have reportedly confessed. The motives for the bombing are still unclear. RT's Ekaterina Gracheva describes the first fatal terror attack in the country's modern history.

Fake IV & Glucose Fluids Seized at Jodhpur City Hospital

A disturbing discovery in one northwest Indian hospital. Fake medical fluids were found in one ward of the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur city. Earlier this year more than a dozen women died at two other hospitals in the city after they were given fake IV fluids.

Video of giant Airbus A380 clipping CRJ700 jet at JFK Airport

The world's largest passenger aircraft clipped a much smaller commuter plane on a dark, wet tarmac at New York City's Kennedy Airport. No one was injured. The two jets - an Airbus A380 operated by Air France and a Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet - were towed away after the collision around 00:00 GMT on Tuesday and will be inspected to determine the extent of their damage. The Airbus A380 was taxiing out to a runway when its left wingtip crashed into the tail of the regional jet, operated by Comair for Delta Air Lines and stopped on an intersecting taxiway, whipping the smaller plane around nearly 90 degrees. Air France said 485 passengers and 25 crew members were aboard the Paris-bound Flight 7. The Comair flight was carrying 62 passengers and four crew members.
