(Update) Bagyong Bising has maintained its strength, January 12, 2013

The tropical depression Bagyong Bising is the second storm that make landfall in the 170 km northeast of Borongan, Eastern Samar, based on all available data, according to state weather bureau.

As of 4:00 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2013, the center of Bagyong Bising was spotted 170 kilometers northeast of Borongan, Eastern Samar with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour near the center. It is forecast to move north northwest at 13 kph.

Under Public Storm Signal 1 (45-60 kph winds) are:

Camarines Norte
Camarines Sur
Northern Samar
Western Samar
Eastern Samar

Weather experts said, "Bagyong Bising has maintained its strength as it continues to move north northwestward. "

Meanwhile, PAGASA advised fishing boats and other small seacrafts not to venture out into the seaboards of Luzon and over the eastern seaboard of Visayas and Mindanao.
